The Mad Houstonian, here, and the country continues to go to hell...
but there is hope, as anyone who watched the recent Presidential & VP Debates know...
People who know me know who I think won, so I won't say anything more.
Yes, I know, it's been just over a month since my last post...
I am sorry.
As I mentioned, last month, I have been pre-occupied with the goings on in our nation, worried by all I've seen and heard.
I have also been returning to work, and to walking on my own 2 feet every day, with shifts far different than all those years of 3 to Midnight thanks to reduced store hours.
There is news on the creativity front to report, as I work on finally returning to regular posting here.
Back in the Spring Memorial Park in Houston asked visitors to submit their thoughts on the question "What Memorial Park Means to You".
I submitted and promptly forgot about it.
A couple of months ago the park opened its new Eastern Glades to the public, and revealed something special about it, related to how they are sharing the public response to the above question.
What that all has to do with me will have to wait a bit longer.
Let's just say that I spent 3 days, during opening week, exploring the Glades and taking photos, and am just waiting for something to be completed so I can return and take a special selfie.
Then all will be revealed.
Oh, and I had an interesting experience eating lunch at a newly opened Hot Dog joint, in The Heights, to share.
As the weather cools I plan on getting out more, on foot, and finally back on my bike, and return to more blogging.
This year has been a challenge to all of us, in so many ways, but life must go on, and I aim to do my best to move forward.
