The latest progress in my writing career took place this morning and has me beaming from ear to to ear with pride and honor.
In May of 2013 I boldly submitted a poem and a very short story to a new online magazine (off to a nice start since January) by author/freelance writer Molly Smith.....
Then never heard a peep.
I soon completely forgot about sending the submission.
Then, in December, I get an e-mail; Molly was writing to apologize and explain (the site went dormant from Mid-May to Mid-December) and to express an interest in posting my work if it was still available.
Interested? ME? Why Sointenly!
Fictitious Magazine is an ambitious, one woman, operation with the goal of encouraging visitors to "Let your imagination take you on a journey today" by reading her author/writer interviews, reading the works of writers she publishes and visiting their sites to enjoy what they have to offer.
There is no pay involved but it is an opportunity to take another step along my creative journey...
Thank you Molly, so very much, for this wonderful opportunity!
****UPDATE - January 13th*****
I hope you enjoyed hearing me read my poem about a very unusual plant, yesterday. :-D
For those who click the above replay I am the 2nd caller...at the 14min 20sec mark and the call lasts almost 8 minutes.
I must admit, though, that while lack of time, or reason, to call in before played a part, fear of making a fool of myself to a worldwide audience was a reason as well.
For more of my poems and stories I invite you to explore my archives.
My cats are poets and storytellers as well and you can check out their stuff, here:
