This post is a follow-up to the series I wrote in July.
Shared on Facebook, early this morning:
I am grateful to have been called in to Wal-Mart for a job interview yesterday morning
I am grateful to have passed both interviews and been asked to go pee in a cup while they do a background check.
I am grateful to have successfully peed in a cup.
I am grateful that, at age 53, my aim is still good.
I am grateful for the opportunity to spend 3 hours yesterday evening, having dinner and a couple of beers, at a local pub, visiting with some bloggers in town for an American Legion Convention, and to have been able to pass out my card to a few who like cats.
I am grateful to have finally made it home so I can go to bed.
The cats are grateful I returned home so they can have their din din!
I am grateful to have had a job interview, a job interview
At Wal-Mart yesterday morning, at Wal-Mart yesterday morning.
I passed both chats and was asked to pee in a cup
And I'm grateful for giving just enough up
Overjoyed that at 53 my aim is still true.
I am grateful for 3 hours at Lucky's Pub, at Lucky's Pub

You have no idea how tired I was arriving home
To two hungry felines demanding their grub
