To start the week the challenge was to just take a little break and go for a walk, sing a song, watch a movie, and take a nice long bath or shower, and imagine you are at the beach.
Why? "Because part of putting together a chapbook needs to be giving yourself time to be fun or silly or otherwise not chapbooking. Your task is not only to take a little break, but also to have fun."
Well, because I've been catching up since I got my computer back I didn't read the post until this evening, after I returned home from a fun, silly, and otherwise non-chapbooking sort of day.
I went in search of a unique little pocket park known for it's amusing mix of iron sculptures, on Bellfort at the South Freeway.
Once back downtown I came across a little festival, at city hall, promoting the arrival of the annual Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo the world's largest livestock show, in town for a month.
Two more amusing photos from the festival can be seen here:

OK, time for me to go take a shower...
