In Honor of Veteran's Day

The day after the election I went to the San Jacinto Battleground State Historic Site, and the nearby Battleship Texas Historic Site, and while I didn't take the tour of the ship, I did, with the help of a passer-by wielding my camera, pay tribute.

Thank you, Mog, for the assistance with the photos! (My PSE was down!) :-D

As anyone who has visited the ship knows it's birthed in the opposite direction. The wind was strong, but not in the direction I needed, so the picture had to be flipped. :-D
