OK, call me crazy, but I stopped by a Christian second hand store a mile from home and sitting outside was a beautiful 3 piece wood furniture set, received only two days ago and just put out today.
A day after going to church for the first time in a good long while, I decide to check out this store, which I discovered a few weeks back.
There were two end tables and a coffee table for a total of $55.
I hadn’t planned on buying anymore furniture, because of the cost, but could not pass this steal of a deal up and I know just how to use them in what space I have. :-D
I carried one end table home, and came back, twice more, with my dolly, to get the other two.
While taking home the first table things got a little weird. :-D
It was heavier to carry than I expected, and it was a tiring 45 min. walk.
I stop, with 6 blocks, counting walking to the back of my apt. complex, left to go, to leave a humorous remark, by cell phone, on my Facebook asking if anyone had a Pick-up truck. :-D
Two blocks later a beat up gray pick-up pulls up in the driveway of the med colleges, and a young Hispanic dude asks if I needed a ride. Now, being understandably wary, I thanked them, and said I only had a short distance to go. They both got out, and insisted I let them help because they had seen me and were worried because I looked so tired, and so wanted to help.
According to the signs on the truck they worked for a sign company, and before I knew it they had made room in the back of the truck, and I was in the front seat, guiding them to the back of my complex, where 1 guy took the table to the elevator for me.
I shook their hands and thanked them, and they went on their way.
Synchronicity?
The Lord working in mysterious ways, his wonders to behold?
You tell me.
All I know is that my request for a pick-up truck was answered in no time flat! :-D

Looking Good!
