I can't weight to get to Texas! :-D
As of this morning I am 192.6 :-D
In July I was as high as 204, ending the month at 201.
I've not been at 200 or above, since....
It has been years since I last saw below 195, much less below 190! By the time I get to Houston I might be, but after Sunday morning I will not see my scale until around the 24th when my stuff arrives. :-D
My goal has been to get down to around 170, which is about right for my height and build.
Breakfast has been a small bowl of cherrios, an apple, and a glass of water, or a diet coke.
Dinner has been 2 cups of various macaroni, mixed with a small can of corn, and tomato sauce, and a glass of water, or a diet coke.
Not sure what I'll do my 1st week in Houston, until my stuff arrives.

Oh, my goodness ... find a good Chick-Fil-A or La Madeleine or something.
Stick with protein and fruit and veggies ... you'll do GREAT!!!

Congratulations on the weight loss.
You do need some meat or beans for protein as well as milk or a calcium supplement for the calcium to have a more well rounded diet.
You are doing better than me though. :D

Mog, I paid my final respects to Original Tommy's by having a burger & hot dog, w/chili on them, for lunch today.
I would have preferred going to the home store in LA, but no time. :-D
Marilynn, both restuarants are close to my new place. :-D
Never heard of the 2nd one, though, but their website makes it interesting. :-D

Good although both a burger and hot dog in the same meal is hardly dieting.:D
Forgot to mention the fruit, necessary for a well balanced diet.
Marilynn has the right idea.
And definitely go to Chick-fil-A. Show your support.

LOL!
I know, but this was OT, a decades old institution!
I will probably never be able to visit it again. :..(
As for fruit, that has been a regular part of my diet for a while.
In fact I need to get back to using my blender for smoothies.

Ah ok, well you did last respects in style.:D
Smoothies are great.
There is a place that makes the best smoothies within walking distance. If only it weren't too hot to walk. Waiting for it to get below 100. Could make them myself thou. :D
It gets hot in Texas too, but Houston is by the coast so should be nice. Get to visit the water too, some beautiful country there.
