Prompting Yourself To Write 43: What Creativity Means To Me - Continued How my friend Jo Ann wrote a blog post where she wrote abote living in the present and exploring the unlimited opportunities one has ti use his or her creativity in everyday life. She wrote of approaching the problems one faces with imagination and turning them into blessings. I am thnkful for all the good I've experiences in my life and the gift of creativity that The Great Creator has, for some reason not yet clear to me, bestowed on me. I believe that my creativity is meant not just to enrich my life, but the lives of others and that, by doing so, I will be making a small contribution toward making the world we all share a much better place for everyone. In yesterday's post I wrote of the inspiration for it, and this 2nd part.
As I try to move forward with my personal, career, and creative lives, by relocating, I hope, to Texas, I can't help but believe, as Jo Ann writes in a poem, that the present is ripe with great opportunity if I only understood how best to grasp it.
I have shown, over a decade of blogging, that I am able to use my creativity to enrich the lives of others all around the world. I know this is true because people have told me so. Sharing my gift for writing has helped sustain me during my own most dark and difficult moments.
Another friend has urged me to not settle for just any old job that comes my way, to consider as a goal finding a career related in some way to my abilities as a writer.
Figuring out just what that may be, and how to get such a job, along with successfully relocating myself elsewhere than where I am, are on my agenda for the days ahead...for tonight I have a list to complete. :-D

Creativity has often been my enemy, making me jump my
routine tracks, and causing me to lose time and money. But creativity has also been a dear friend, showing me how to cover my losses and rebuild capital. It's kind of a to and fro motion, a yin and yang.
Life happens somewhere in between.
I've often been in a routine when creativity pulls or pushes me away; not as often, a I yearn for the security of routine after the scariness of too much creativity.
I think I have now made creativity a routine; I'm still trying to make routine more creative, but routine usually wins.
