The Mad Macedonian and The Foot Whisperer: Meeting 2 - Preview

 

March 26th, 2010 was a great day for me, full of interesting conversation, some walking along the beach in San Clemente, photography, pizza, and whiskey dolloped coffee. ;-D

I had the great pleasure to finally meet Randy Eady, of Glider Rider, Seat and Feet, and Ko Sha Rey Rythms, a supporter of this blog, my old bike blog, and of the blogging of my Cats, and someone who I have blogged about many times over the years.

On The Cycling Dude I shared the story, and photos, over several posts.

Now, Randy is attending a conference at the Long Beach Convention Center, over the weekend, and has asked me to show him around to some of the outdoor walking, and garden spaces, in South LA County, and here in Orange County.

Randy is a remarkable, knowledgeable, guy, with his, um, toes, in so many pies it is sometimes dizzying to me.

He will be attending The Alchemy Conference, tomorrow, and on Sunday we will both check out the free 2 day KNBC 4 Your Health Expo, also at the Convention Center.

The reason he's interested in Garden Walk environments is that he's the creator of the Ancient Walking to Primal Rhythms Program, & the developer of numerous therapeutic garden designs.

He's a former Professor, and Course Chair, of Cultural Anthropology at the USAF Academy.

 He is also  pursuing a doctorate in ecopsych-nature therapy.

He's spent 18 years in various related fields of interest of alternative healthcare, related to the legs & feet, movement, & balance, movement disorders,  all related to children, adults, and Seniors.

His articles on his blogs are often interesting, and it's relatively easy to grasp what he's discussing.
