Back around Easter I wrote about boldly going where a Mad Macedonian had never gone before.
A few days later I got some surpising news: I was among those chosen as a Runner-Up for Purina Cat Chow Correspondent.
The 2 weeks since have been interesting, and full of change, all of this related to Nikita, Elvira Mistress of Pussydom, and our blog, Meowsings of an Opinionated Pussycat.
It began with my day trip to the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, and continued with a major overhaul of the look of the the blog!

As Elvira got her whiskers in a bunch over the insults flung at Cats, in the wake of the dispatching of Osama Bin Loony to hell, I was writing out an essay in search of a sponsor for my planned trip to Blog Paws Pet Bloggers Convention, in August, in Virginia.

Dear reader, welcome to what I believe is the BEST Cat Blog in Orange County, in Southern California, and one of the best in the state, and the nation, oh, and what the heck, probably the world, too!
Look, if I don't believe so, there's no guarantee any one else will. ;-D
It's an evolving blog with a small, but enthusiastic, supportive, and growing, readership that frequently comments on, and links to, its content, and the site itself (Link to Stats Tracker is at bottom of sidebar).
It is certainly the most unique, uniquely outspoken, and resource rich, in the world, hands down. ;-D
