Sunday was Day 17 of the 2011 Sit Spot Challenge, and I've been getting close to nature in the middle of Huntington Beach, right in the heart of Orange County.
This past weekend I did it barefoot. ;-D
On Saturday a couple fine feathered fans gave me some advice...
Which, being Human, and considering myself somewhat smarter...I promptly ignored, and forgot about. ;-D
I returned to the park, and went over by the lake again, but did not see the Geese...or Henry. ;-D
I would have continued around the lake for a look at the Dog Park, except for what happened when I proceeded to mount this tree truck in the 10 seconds I had before the camera took its photo. ;-D
I stubbed my left big toe against the tree branch, and chipped the toenail.
Blood was everywhere! ;-D
After cleanup my put on my shoes, and socks, and headed home.
After some thought, and not a little pain, hee, hee, I've concluded that I'd be wasting this whole week by continuing the Sit Spot Challenge.
I was fine on the days I went to my Computer classes, as I was away from home for 5 hours a day already without the Sit Spot time.
But on days with no class, and no-where else to go, it's 2-2 1/2 hours on the bus, and 20 min. in the park.
I've joined an Online Community (More on that later) that I need to learn about, and set up an account, and I want to spend time on my LinkedIn as well, as well as play with the computer programs I'm learning, and take a long bike ride, and this Easter week off from class is a perfect time for it.

Just checked my Stats, and discovered that this is the 600th post on this blog, by myself, and NIkita Cat (Thru 2009), since this blog began in October 2007.
Our first blog, from 2002 to October 2007, had 1814 posts between us. ;-D
