Oh Kiril, I did not know any of this!

Wow can I relate!!!!

I was out of work for 18 months from Sept 2006 to March 2008 and am worried daily about job status.

There are many many many free online IT training sites if you are interested in learning new computer skills.

I learned ALOT about job hunting when I was out of work too.

Email me if you are interested in any of this! - Mary

Thank you, everyone, for you support!

Mary, I WILL be getting in contact.

Keep up the thought that, as bad as things get, they can get worse.....but eventually it all works out for the best.

That is of little help, but you have to keep focused on 10 yrs. from now & design your day, to day, events with that in mind.

Good luck!!

Karen

Advise is good luck..

Also on the windows stuff you can get free tutorials online as well as practice stuff.

I have been unemplyed since the last day of July.

I want retraining but, I have to wait for a new session first and that is Dec 22nd.

Tailor your resume for each job you apply too.

Put a great cover letter together and send a thank you for the interview.

Also realize the odds of getting the same pay you had are slim and figure out what your minimum is now.

GM Roper

Kiril, I noticed you have the Serenity Prayer in this post.

Please allow me to give you MY version that I have used with my counseling patients for the last 40 years:

GOD, grant me the SERENITY to accept the PEOPLE I cannot change,

The COURAGE to change the PERSON I can,

And the WISDOM to know that that PERSON is ME!
