The 30-Day Sit Spot Challenge is a way for you to connect with the depth of the natural world through one spot in the nature.
You can learn more about this 20 min. a Day Exercise, and why I think the experience can provide interesting opportunities for Writing Prompts, in the Introductory Post, and then follow the link, at the end of each post, to the next chapter.
Question #18: Carve while at your Sit Spot. Use materials you find there and create something.
Quote to Ponder:
Touching that old tree was truly moving to me because when you touch these trees, you have such a sense of the passage of time, of history. It's like you're touching the essence, the substance of life.
Kim Novak
With nothing laying around for me to create anything with I just sat at my Sit Spot enjoying the view, yesterday. ;-D
Growing up in Claremont, Ca., a century old college town known for its trees, and nearby Pomona, and Ontario, also know for their old trees, I fully agree with Kim on this.
Walking the streets of these towns, especially in the older sections, one is struck by the beauty of your surroundings.
