The creative writing, observations, experiences, and opinions, on life, and the world around him, by Kiril Kundurazieff; taking one step at a time on the Journey of Discovery, and Enlightenment, that every individual must take from the cradle to the grave.
“Though you might not know it from TV, OC is more than beaches, blonds and Botox. The Real OC is made of people of all incomes, ethnicities, interests, and political persuasions. The Real OC is a great place to live. Lots of remarkable things happen here and some of them happen to me. That's what this blog is about. Life in the Real OC, from the perspective of a not-quite-young-definitely-not-old mom/wife/friend/writer. Check it out--Notes from the Real OC.”
One of her 1st posts atracted my attention because I fancy myself a writer in the making what with my poetry, humor, and short story efforts, plus my more "Journalistic" Blogging over the years here, and on The Cycling Dude. ;-D
"Over the years I've gotten some perspective on both my dream and my writing. I love to write. In fact, I do have several stories and even a completed novel hidden away. None of them are terribly good, but writing them was both cathartic and a lesson in reality. I like re-reading them and remembering who I was when I wrote them....
in December 2008 I decided to re-start my PR and marketing writing business. I didn't imagine it would be that difficult--after all, when I did it in the 90s, getting clients was pretty easy. What I had forgotten was that at the time I started my writing business in the 90s, we were in the midst of the Internet Boom and anybody who could string three words together in a cohesive sentence could be hired as a PR writer. Well, maybe I'm not giving myself enough credit. I was a good writer. But times were different, and there was more money around to hire people like me.
So it was with a bit of over-confidence that I launched the current incarnation of my business, Kim Haman, Writer."
It was more than a couple of years ago, In a country proud, and free, That a gentleman there lived, whom few did know By the name of Barack Obama, you see. And this gentleman lived with no other thought Than to be President, and rule over you and me.
He was a Democrat, and we were Republican, In this country proud, and free; But he was a Democrat whose Liberalism was of more than the ordinary bent, This Barack Obama, you see, A Liberalism that Chavez, and Castro Were glad to see in this ruler of you, and me.
And this was the reason that, a few months ago, In this country proud and free, Voices spoke out from TV, Radio, Internet, Street, and Town Hall Opposing Barack Obama, you see; So that his officials, followers, and media apologists spoke And began to demonize them, you, and me. To marginalize Fox and every opposing Commentator, Radio Host, Blogger, and Tea Partier, In this country proud and free.
The Progressives, not happy with a Constitutional Republic, Spent 100 years envying, and opposing, you and me -- Yes! That was the reason, as all Patriots know, In this country proud and free, That the people now in power try to silence Rush, Sean, Glenn, Fox, you, and me.
But our love of country, and of freedom, was stronger, by far, than the love Of those who admire Marx, and Mao, and find fault with the home of the brave, and the land of the free -- Of those who preach Political Correctness, more taxes, and complete government control over you, and me, And neither the politicians in Washington, Nor the Left Wing Bloggers, or Mainstream Media, Can ever dissever our souls from the souls Of the Founders, and Builders of this beautiful country, proud, and free.
For the moon never beams without bringing us dreams Of defeating Barack Obama, you see; And the stars never rise that we don't plan an election surprise That will shock the supporters of Barack Obama, you see. And so, all the day, and night, we work to turn the tide On behalf of this country proud, and free; For the United States of America, proud , and free.

You have just bought a box of Trader Joe's Brand (Or any brand, at whatever store you are in, it don't matter!), Beer Bread Mix, and you are clutching the box, wandering the Booze aisles, just sooo conflicted!
Since the box says you can use a "Carbonated" Beverage, instead, you wander over to the Soft Drinks, but you still can't decide!
You know there's a Cost Plus, and a Bev/Mo, around somewhere, and thinking that maybe visiting them might help you decide, you buy the box, and head on out.
Hours, and several more stores (Suddenly there seems to be a Supermarket, or Farmer's Market around every damn corner!) later....you are no closer to a decision, it's getting late in the day, and you are getting hungrier by the minute, but you are still no closer to making a decision....
Pathetic, ain't it? ;-D
Don't laugh, you Foodies reading this!
I'm sure you, more experienced at cooking, folks have had similiar momemts of indecision over some food prep choices of some sort or another over the years, hee, hee! ;-D
I haven't made my own choice, in this case, yet, as I had to make other purchses the day I bought the box, but the above scenario popped into my mad little head the moment I read the box, and I thought I'd try and get an answer to this question:
You can choose just 1 but, OH GOD, which 1?
What do you think is the best Beer, or Soft Drink, for Beer Bread?

Every night, since I can remember...and I'm 11 years old, I've greeted Daddy at the door upon his return from work, and often from any other outside excursion he takes, even if it's just to the mailbox.
It's a joyous occasion, with me purring, Daddy saying sweet nothings, and me dashing over to the bed, and rolling over, as Daddy comes over for a couple of minutes of belly rubbing, chin scratching, and general, gentle, loving, and tussling. ;-D
This time was different, from the moment he opened the door, and caught me a bit by surprise.
Daddy was pointing that new toy of his, a Flip Camcorder, at me, and talking to me a little less sillier than usual, in his greeting.
This was so odd that I was a bit unsure what to do next, but finally settled on heading to the bed.
Things only got stranger from there as Daddy just kept pointing the Flip at me, and talking.
I finally figured out that the Flip was still a camera, even if it didn't flash, so realized that he was engaging in picture taking of a sort, which is something I enjoy imensely, so got into the spirit of the moment.
This finally got Daddy to give me some chin, and head rubbing, and that made all the fuss worth it.
Then I got a look at the video...
I don't know who comes across sillier in this thing, me or Daddy!
At least I look cute.
Not dignified, mind you, just cute. ;-D
Now that I understand what this YouTube stuff is all about, I'm going to work with Daddy, very closely, to bring the same combination of fun, seriousness, and dignity that I've always brought to my blogging to videos I appear in.
