Consider the creatures of the Animal Kingdom (You Dog Bloggers, and my fellow Cat Bloggers, think of another creature for this exercise.) and, taking it from there, write something in 15 minutes.
The creature could be an herbivore, or carnivore, something in between, or a creature you made up. ;-D
Take the 1st 5 minutes to think about your subject, and the tale you want to tell, then use the remaining minutes to write it all down
A stream of consciousness thing, I guess.
You don't even have to actually name the creature, but let your reader try to figure it out from the way you tell your story. ;-D

UP A TREE
Here I am up this damn tree, 50 ft. off the ground, and FOR WHAT?
The old lady will be pissed at having to keep the kids interested because dinner is late.
The forest was too inviting, what can I say? ;-D
A warm evening saunter through the bushes, and trees, looking for honey, mushrooms, and fruit, takes a turn for the worse, I thought, when I saw the 2-legged creature, and its similar companion, noisily blundering down the trail.
We stared at each other for a moment and, suddenly, it dawned on me that, if I play my cards right, I could appease the wife with a really sumptuous dinner tonite...
So here I am up this damn tree, within inches of my prize, the thought of raw meat making my mouth drool, and stomach growl...
