Man Called Weird for Walking to Work?

I grew up walking everywhere.

Kind of a neccesity when the parents don't own a car. ;-D

Despite owning Bicycle and a Bus Pass, I have, in years past, inexplicably, to many, made the trek to work on foot from time to time.

In Pomona, in the 80's and 90's, I lived 3 miles from work, and often walked both ways, reading a book the whole time. ;-D

For 3 weeks, one time, when I worked in Chino, I walked 6 miles each way when I couldn't afford a Bus Pass, or to get my bike fixed.

When I live in Costa Mesa I often walked 2 miles each way to and from my job.

What reminded me of this was an old story in The Onion, from 2001. ;-D

Weird Coworker Apparently Likes Walking Two Miles To Work Every Day.

I'm weird, and damn well proud of it! ;-D
