Welcome to Meowsings of an Opinionated Pussycat!
This morning I had a issue.
I wanted to blog, and I wanted to check out Twitter, and I wanted to go on my Catbook page!
Anyway, I couldn't do any of this important stuff because Daddy was tempting me.
Oh, not deliberately, mind you, it's just that he likes to eat while online, and all that food was oh, so close! ;-D
I jumped to the top of the bookshelf, and stared, and stared, and stared....
Now, I ask you? What's a Cat to do?
Valiantly resist temptation by turning tail and going to take a mid-morning nap.
I'm so proud of myself! ;-D
Todays topic is paper.
To be specific that variety of paper the humans call an "envelope"
I love paper of any type, and can't resist the urge to help Daddy find new places to put any piece of paper I can reach!
I consider any place I choose to be a far superior place for his papers than where he chooses to place them.
Can I help it if Daddy and I have irreconcilable differences with regards to this?
He gets real exasperated when I get in the mood to perfom this variety of Feng Meowie
I just don't understand what the problem is for the life of me!
I mean, come on! What the hell is so wrong about the floor?
There are plenty of videos on YouTube that explore the Feline Fascination with Envelopes.
The humans narrating some of these videos just don't seem to have a clue what's truly going on, or why.
It's truly sad.
I even found one human who thinks his Cat is stupd because of her fascination with envelopes!
I'm sorry, yes someone's stupid, but it ain't the Cat!
Spain the Cat loves her Tor envelopes, and her human doesn't quite know what to make of it.
Some human drop their envelopes "Accidentally" on the floor. Shakti, though, knows the truth! Her human wants her to arrainge them for proper floor display!
Sometimes choosing just the right place to display an envelope on the floor can be soooo hard! It can become so frustrating that, as in the case of this Cat, one finally says the hell with it, and gives up!
Bubble Wrap Envelopes can be even more frustrating sometimes. Just hen you think you have found the absolute, most perfect, place for one of these beauties...doubts set in, and you keep looking, avoiding tempting distractions as you fail a second time to find just the right place.
Finally, tired, and hungry, even the most determined Kitty will call it quits.
When humans mess up their office space looking for an envelope some will go to extremes to avoid taking the blame.
Take the following case, for instance.
Everyone knows that envelopes can often be found in Envelope Boxes! Nothing mysterieous or freaky about it!
It's only common sense! And, God Knows, we Felines have plenty of that to spare! ;-D
In this instance our hero didn't find the envelope he, or she, was looking for.
And just who's fault is that? ;-D
Now let's move on to a round-up of Weekly Carnivals:
1. Carnival of the Cats #259 is up and running at Artsy Cats, and you can learn all about the Carnival itself, over at The Cat Blogosphere.
Next week it will be hosted by Mind of Mog, and we very sadly send purrs & purrayers to Mind of Mog, who recently helped their sweet Klarissa to the Rainbow Bridge ...
2. Weekend Catblogging #195 is hosted by Sir Tristan Tabby Cat Longtail, of Tabbylicious, and you can learn about Weekend CatBlogging here.
3. The Modulator, as usual, has Friday Ark #232, where all the Animal Kingdom comes together to strut its stuff, and you can find links to Carnivals celebrating creatures of all sorts.
4. The Pet Purrs and Purrayers Blog is for any pet prayer requests, praises or remembrances.
Monthly Healing Purr & Purrayer Circles are held the last Thursday of each month.
Well, that's all for now, I am off to take an afternoon nap! ;-D
