Earthquake, What Earthquake?

For anyone wondering if the earth swallowed me, and Nikita, up this past week, no such luck, sorry to disappoint. ;-D

I'm sitting at my computer, and Nikita is sleeping on the bed, when our Second Floor Apartment starts seriously doing the Hokie Pokie, and twisting all about... for 40 seconds or so.

Nikita did the prudent thing, dashing under the bed, with a "Call me when it's over!" meow over his shoulder. ;-D

Another reason we have been away is that I've been hogging the computer for Genealogical purposes, and went to some local Genealogy Society meetings, making some interesting discoveries along the way.

With 4 days off, in the coming week and a half, we both will be back to blogging soon.
