Welcome to Meowsings of an Opinionated Pussycat!
Let's begin with a news round-up!
1. THIS Cat has successfully trained his owner in 1 particular task:
A Cat is baffling his owner by wandering off at night before expecting to be collected by car every morning at exactly the same time and place.
Sgt Podge, a Norwegian Forest Cat, disappears from his owner's home in Talbot Woods, Bournemouth, every night.
The next morning, the 12-year-old Cat can always be found in exactly the same place, on a pavement about one and a half miles (2.4km) away.
His owner, Liz Bullard, takes her son to school before collecting Sgt Podge.

2. New Children's Book about the Pope is told from the point of view of a Cat.
“Chico and Joseph—A Cat Recounts the Life of Pope Benedict XVI” tells the life of the Pope from the point of view of Chico, a Cat that lived with the Pope in Germany when the man was Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, Reuters reports.

3. THIS Cat apparently didn't eat the Canary:
Nimra, a one-year-old Cat in Jordan, began looking after the chicks after their mother hen died.
After giving birth to four kittens of her own Nimra keeps them and the chicks together in a cardboard box.
If the chicks wander too far Nimra will gently pick them up in her mouth and take them back to the box.
From a brief story on a news site in Australia.
4. Hello Kitty Costumes for Kitty?
This is a fascinating, and funny, story about REAL Hello Kittys. ;-D
A Japanese pet apparel company is selling a special edition costume that they guarantee will make your cat look like the spitting image of Hello Kitty. The official Sanrio-approved costume includes a hat and “blouse.”
