Well, it is!
You may think that the Mad Macedonian is speaking sacrilege, but I only wish to speak truth. ;-D
I once saw at least 10 of the critters flittin' about the patio of the one down near 17th and Newport, in Costa Mesa, one morning.
Gooood Morning, ORANGE COUNTY!
How are ya?
How many of you went to a Starbucks this morning, or plan to at some point in the day or evening?
Starbucks, or Coffee Central to the latte lovin' set, has I've discovered, something to offer even little ol' me:
Delicious HOT CHOCOLATE!
So, off I went to start the day in fine fashion with an hours worth of people watching, traffic observing (Bristol has some of the busiest intersections in Orange County) and reading.
Here, people come who seem to be on their way somewhere, in a hurry, or not.
Some folks are here to meet someone, while others, like me, are here to relax for a few minutes to start or end the day.
One gets the feeling that, on occasion, decisions of great import to an individual, a company, a city, or even a nation are made in a Starbucks.
Instead of the smoke-filled back room, it's the pungent smell of coffee wafting through the air, inside and out, which creates the atmosphere for all that transpires here.
One can overhear a lot and see a lot while visiting a Starbucks, you should try it sometime. ;-D
