Proof positive that Orange County Is not one huge, God-awful parking lot!
In his time as an Orange Countian the Mad Macedonian has accumulated enough information to set this gross misconception to rest.
Ever since the I-5 and the 91, among other freeways, were built, probably going as far back as when the first paved street appeared, this fair county has been plagued by the story, completely fabricated mind you (By jealous Angelenos?) that you can't move around here without bumping into a car.

Yes, we have 3 Interstates passing thru.
Yes, we have 7 (10 if you count the Toll Roads.) State Highways zigzagging across the landscape.
Yes, we have 16 Regional Shopping Malls and a ton of parking spaces.
Yes, this means that rush hour is always a major pain in the carburetor, especially along the much beloved Orange Crush.
However, he discovered that his new home has:
6 Historical Parks
15 Regional Parks
6 Wilderness Parks
8 Beaches and Harbors
19 Open Space Preserves
18 Cemeteries
AND, last but not least, over 300+ Parks (That's just after A-G in the alphabet!).
So, "enough already!" he says.
We have plenty of space in which to move around and he has begun to get out and explore it.
